Find a job where they will pay you for doing what you like to do. Apparently, that's what I've done. That aside, you'll find all the other stuff I do here and the characters I do it with, including the smartest woman I know, a brilliant four year old, intriguing offspring, and a giant adopted dawg. CAUTION: This is for my own amusement. I think I'm a riot. You may not. If you are a better writer than I am, let's hang out, so I can get better too.
My thermometer from acmehardware.com still has not arrived. I ordered it on April 17. I've sent two emails so far with no response. When I check my order on their site, it still says "open". I can't tell what the temperature is outside. My old thermometer still says "100 degrees". I am so disheartened by it all.

Hi there, I came across your blog through a Google search. I too have ordered a product from acmehardware.com and not received it yet. I placed my order on 4/6, and it's almost a month later. I've been talking with Steve Finer (Steve@AcmeHardware.com), who keeps insisting it's coming, but it's not. I don't know whether to report this as fraud or not yet. It's absolutely ridiculous though.
