Temple Bar
Have you heard of the "Temple Bar District" in Dublin? It's a fun neighborhood over by the river with pubs and restaurants and shops, and here is the pub that lent its name to the whole area.
Find a job where they will pay you for doing what you like to do. Apparently, that's what I've done. That aside, you'll find all the other stuff I do here and the characters I do it with, including the smartest woman I know, a brilliant four year old, intriguing offspring, and a giant adopted dawg. CAUTION: This is for my own amusement. I think I'm a riot. You may not. If you are a better writer than I am, let's hang out, so I can get better too.

Hi John
Enjoyed your little tour of Ireland and the pictures - wow. I love hearing the Irish Brogh (sp?) as well and could listen to it for hours on end. My husband does a good one every once in awhile but wouldn't keep it up. No he isn't Irish. He's Welsh, Scottich, English, I think.
That photo is awesome. I could just stand on that street and take in the beauty all day, or until a vehicle hit me.
Tink,
On our taxi ride to the airport as we were leaving Ireland, the driver was Scottish. We could hardly understand him!
Darlene,
You probably would get run over--they drive on the wrong side of the street there. That's one reason we never drove during our visit, just taxis, buses, or my brother driving a rental car.
